Biography

Valerie Irons is a self-taught artist living in Sedona, Arizona.  She is dedicated to her sacred spiritual art as well as to divine healing through the arts.

She grew up the daughter of a Navy Admiral and spent her formative years living in Japan, Taiwan and Thailand.  Thus began a lifelong attraction to indigenous cultures, ancient teachings and spirituality.   She lived in Los Angeles and worked in the film industry throughout her early adult life.  In her late thirties, she moved to Sedona in answer to a calling for a life filled with nature and creativity.

Valerie has traveled extensively throughout India, Indonesia, Thailand, Viet Nam, Nepal, North Africa, Australia, Europe and Mexico.  Her love of foreign cultures, spirituality, healing and music comes through her work as an artist of the spirit.  She uses prayer, chanting and sound ceremonies in the making of her shamanic artwork, thus bridging the heavens and earth through core symbolic patterns of light and color. 

She is inspired by divine love.  And is deeply grateful.
